- Snake Scapes has no accounts. We don't ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or location.
- Your game progress is stored only on your phone.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob collects some device data, such as your advertising ID and IP address, to show and measure ads.
- Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before ads use your data for personalization. You can change your choice at any time.
- We never sell your personal information.
1. Who we are
Snake Scapes is made by Kodekraftr ("we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
2. Information stored on your device
The game saves your progress on your phone: levels completed, hints, daily challenge days and streak, event progress, awards and settings (sound, haptics, music and theme). This data doesn't leave your device and we can't see it. If Android backup is turned on, Android may include it in your own Google backup. Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes it.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Snake Scapes is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show ads, measure them, limit how often you see the same ad and prevent fraud, the AdMob software inside the game collects and processes the following data. Google receives it directly; we don't receive data that identifies you.

Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. AdMob may work with certified ad technology partners; Google lists them in its ad technology providers page.
Rewarded ads
Some ads are optional: you choose to watch them for a reward, such as an extra hint or heart. You never need to watch one to keep playing.
Your choices about ads
- Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): the first time you open the game, Google's consent message asks whether ads may use your data for personalization. You can change your choice any time from Settings → Privacy choices in the game.
- US state privacy laws: where they apply, you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted ads from the same Privacy choices option.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID: on Android, open Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) and choose Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID. Without an advertising ID, ads are not personalized.
- Manage ad personalization for your Google account at My Ad Center.
If you decline personalization, you'll still see ads, but they won't be based on your activity.
4. Downloading events
To show limited-time events, the game downloads a small public file from this website (snakescapes.kodekraftr.com). The request carries no personal information from the game. Like any website, our hosting provider can see your IP address and basic request details, which it uses only to deliver and secure the site.
5. Permissions
The game uses the Internet permission (for ads and events), Vibration (haptic feedback) and the Advertising ID permission used by AdMob. It does not access your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, photos or files.
6. Children
Snake Scapes is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, email us and we'll help remove it. Ads shown to users who indicate they are under the age of consent in their region are not personalized.
7. Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Personalized advertising relies on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Non-personalized ads, ad measurement and fraud prevention rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the game free and secure.
8. Keeping and deleting data
We keep no personal data on our own servers. Data stored on your device stays until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Google keeps advertising data according to its own retention policies. See Delete your data for step-by-step instructions.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, California law or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. Because we don't hold identifiable data ourselves, most requests are handled through the controls above or directly with Google. You can always email us and we'll help.
10. Security and transfers
Data sent by the game, including ad requests and the events download, is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Google may process advertising data in countries other than yours, with the safeguards described in its privacy policy.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above, and for important changes we'll show a notice in the game or on this site.
